Liberty tower is a new speculative office building in the Mesa Geitona business area of Limassol in Cyprus. The building accommodates approximately 2,500 m² of office space distributed across four levels. Each level be subdivided into two separate offices, offering the potential for a total of eight separate office spaces. The project accommodates 36 parking spaces on two levels, and a showcase glass box arrival lobby.
The underlying idea behind the design for Liberty Tower is the vision of a pristine rectilinear volume floating above a raised green plinth. The office block is articulated as a series of crisp layers of glass and white bands that wrap the volume and accentuate its horizontality.
Liberty Tower is accessed from a grand formal staircase that leads to a glass entrance lobby that is sandwiched in between the podium and the office volume. The transparent treatment of the lobby coupled with the dark treatment of the columns and underside of slab achieves the floating effect for the office block above.
Clean design that optimises constructability, natural light, and floorplate flexibility, whilst achieving a signature look for the client.
