Situated on the coast road, opposite the renowned Walter Gropius-designed Amathus Hotel, this new development is inspired by both its modernist neighbour as well as the ancient remains found below the site. With its exclusive location within the hotel district of Limassol, this large scale twin tower mixed-use residential scheme contains all the facilities of a luxury resort.
The slender towers emerge from a large podium, part-buried into the steeply sloping site. The verticality of the towers is emphasised by strong lines that trace their outlines up towards a gently sloping crown – a nod to the classical architecture of the ancient city of Amathus.
Facing the coast road, a café and restaurant animate a newly created public plaza centred on the ancient antiquities found on the site and preserved for public display. The top of the podium is a multi-layered landscaped wonderland of pools and vegetation featuring a dramatic infinity edge pool running along almost the entire length of the development.
