After founding the studio in London, the first office that set off our multi-nodal studio model was in Mumbai in 2013. Ever since, we have grown in the number of projects, team members, and offices. With respect to India in particular, we have contributed to the urban vocabularies of Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. With over 30 projects currently on site in Delhi NCR, this opens up opportunities for us to expand our setup in India. We are pleased to announce that we've recently opened our office in New Delhi. This not only strengthens our presence across the country, but also sets a new precedent for a more regionally-focused approach as a global studio.
We've been working on getting the office space ready to assimilate into the UHA culture, whether it's through our team, branding and signage or even our across-all-offices Town Hall meetings.
Along with our growing team in Mumbai, our focus has been on establishing and strengthening our presence in the capital to reflect our growing collaborations in the region. We recently exhibited our pop-up pavilion, Pentad, at India Art Fair 2026 and have also designed Delhi’s tallest residential tower. Gurvinder Singh Chowdhury has joined as the Regional Director for the studio’s newest setup in Delhi NCR.
